Bear Meeting House

"Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home." - Edith Sitwell

This painting is 9" x 12" oil on hardboard. When I told my neighbor I'd paint his house I had two paintings in mind and this is the second one. This piece is part of the Winter Show at Crystal Moll Gallery, starting February 16th.

I'd also like to share some recognition I received on Friday. I was chosen for an honorable mention for the Delaware Division of the Arts 2012 Fellowship program. This is quite a feat for this very competitive award!

Above is a close up picture of the table. My wife made that amazing gift wrap table cloth and bow the night before.

That's me, dreaming about my life again.

 The ladies were shopping!
